SKIPA participates in the Caribbean Investment Forum 2022

The St. Kitts Investment Promotion Agency (SKIPA) recently participated in The Caribbean Investment Forum (CIF 2022), which was held over the period November 8 – 11th, 2022 in Trinidad and Tobago. The CIF 2022 attracted over 400 attendees including: investors, finance professionals, businesses and government officials. The event provided a high-level platform for Caribbean countries to showcase the range of investment opportunities that are available in their respective territories. According to feedback from participants, The CIF 2022 was a tremendous success in showcasing the region’s vast investment potential.

 The event was supported by CARICOM, the Caribbean Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (CAIPA), of which SKIPA is a member and the Caribbean Export Development Agency. The presentations and panel discussions sessions focused on the priority sectors: Hotels and Resort development, Renewable energy, Agribusiness, Outsourcing, Logistics and Transportation and other sectors. Two notable features at the event were: 1. the utilization of an innovative B2B online registration platform for scheduling meetings and 2. The Country Pitches, which allowed each of the Investment Promotion Agency (IPA’s) from the region to present on the bankable projects and investment opportunities in their respective territories. SKIPA was represented at the event by Stanley Jacobs, Director of Investment Promotion and Mrs. Seymona Rogers, Investment Facilitation Officer.
